Thinking about Scotland, Yet Again

Max and Cress are still on my mind, maybe because I just wrote a Halloween short story about them. It's available FREE.

Now I have a great dessert to suggest, with a fabulous name--Flummery. We think of flummery in its negative connotation as insincere flattery. But this dessert should put you in mind of something more positive. Don't be surprised by the oatmeal in it. Scottish dishes are known for inventive ways of using oatmeal.
